The goal of the programme is to equip students with the professional, legal and ethical competencies in strategic application of information systems for a business environment. 

The programme equips the student with information systems specific knowledge for the industry. The programme is structured in such a way that successful students will immediately start participating in critical areas of information systems such as information technology governance and corporate strategy.

Entry Criteria

For entry at first year, candidates should hold Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), “O” Level or IGCSE with at least 6 credits including Mathematics, English and Physics/Physical Science).

Additionally candidates with the following qualifications shall be considered for admission at second year: 

  1. Holders of University Certificate in Computer Science from the University of Malawi 
  2. Holders of Diploma in Computing or any related field from a recognised institutions of higher learning with a pass of distinction or credit and an MSCE with at least four credits including Mathematics, Physics/Physical Science and English.
